Three After Effects animations I made during my studies in the Poitiers school of Fine Arts, within end of studies projects for which I had imagined as a global thematic the animation of typographic elements to which I gave a proper personality. These animations were created before the introduction of a 3D engine in After Effects, the illusion of volume was therefore through deformations made in Photoshop and importation in After Effects of such modified images. I was inspire by the video-clip “The Child”, but it was innovative because in that video-clip the different elements were made with words written in such a way they looked like what they were describing, it was individual letters animated as cartoon characters.
